Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the
water...
One
of the top thrillers in history, Jaws kept millions of beachgoers
out of the water and in the movie theaters Now, Steven Spielberg's great
white is back with a ferocious fury never before seen. Universal Studios
Florida's incredibly realistic, multi-sensory ride adventure JAWS
reawakens guests' most primal fears, infiltrates the senses and shocks
the emotions,
A
pleasant stroll and
leisurely boat tour around the peaceful and
picturesque New England fishing village of Amity Island turns into a
fiery nightmare of catastrophic proportions as nature's most perfect
predator relentlessly pursues his victims. Employing highly
sophisticated special effects and advanced technology, the once serene
Amity harbor explodes with destruction in a relentless pursuit by the
32-foot, 3-ton terror, Passengers wrestle with fun and fear as they are
surrounded by 30-foot walls of flames.
It starts out innocently enough, The vicious marauder
that had terrorized Amity hangs on display in front of the village, so
guests are assured that the waters are safe. But shortly after boarding
a tour boat for a peaceful voyage on the infamous Amity Harbor,
sightseers get their first inkling that something is not only
amiss...it's terribly wrong. As the tour boat races for open water, a
giant dorsal fin flashes past the craft and disappears under the rocking
vessel.
The captain reacts quickly, firing rifle grenades in a
desperate attempt to stop the vicious killer. Soaring missiles fall
short of the terrifying predator, exploding in a tremendous roar as a
wave of terror clutches the traumatized tourists. Barely escaping into
the confines of a deserted boat house, the guests mistakenly believe
they are safe. A feud, startling crash inside the boathouse inflames
their every fear as oars, lobster traps and buoys are sent hurtling
through the air.
JAWS breaks through the boathouse wall and the captain
desperately propels the boat forward attempting the escape. The shark
surges through the water in a frenzied series of relentless attacks and
disaster seems inevitable as the once-serene lagoon is transformed into
a scene of terror and destruction. Survival seems doubtful, as
each thwarted attempt to escape the beast is met with spectacular
explosions, destructive blows and unexpected attacks.
Just as a wall of burning fuel encircles the boat
creating an inferno, the skilled Captain maneuvers the vessel through
the pyrotechnic perils and in a fife and death race, attempts to unload
the hysterical passengers on a barge that supports the main power supply
cable to Amity Island. Again the shark attacks, his powerful jaws
ferociously extended, menacing, glistening as he lunges out of the
boat's wake at guests.
The shark snaps the main power cable and, engulfed by
electrical arcs, begins his death throes, his charred carcass collapsing
as the lagoon boils in white-hot electrical fury and the stench of
burning shark flesh fills the air. Travelers stare into the cold, black,
lifeless eyes as the dazed Captain slowly guides the boat away from the
carnage.
