Rides At Universal Studios Florida
Universal Studios Florida Horror Make Up Show

Universal Studios Florida Terminator 2 3-D

Thollywodd blvd rect.jpg (15166 bytes)he Hollywood area of Universal Studios extends out to the right from the front lot and entrance. Many of  the services for the park including ATMs and maps are located here, along with lots of shopping opportunities.

As you enter the park, you should proceed to your immediate left. It is here that you can get tickets for a second complementary day at Universal.

The most popular ride in this section is Terminator 2 3-D. You'll easily be able to find it at rope drop, simply follow the crowd. Unlike some attractions like Kongfrontation, T2 delivers. It's a fabulous mixture of live-action, 3-D effects and an exciting plot. It's guaranteed to make very small children cry, so you know it's good.

Another main attraction in this area is the Gory, Gruesome & Grotesque Horror Make-up Show. This show is a big hit with teens and fans of splatter flicks. All the bloody secrets of these films are exposed as Rick Baker, the professional make-up artist who won an Oscar for his work in An American Werewolf in London demonstrates some of his techniques. You'll find out how they create gunshot wounds, stab wounds, severed limbs and all things gory. You won't see horror films the same way.

If you'd like to see a different kind of red, check out Lucy: A Tribute.  Adults and the many fans of Lucille Ball will appreciate this attraction, but most of it will be lost on others. Skip it on the first trip.
