Spectator Sports in Orlando

Baseball
The minor league baseball season runs from April to September. Most tickets can be purchased for around $5. Major League clubs like the Braves, Royals and Astros hold spring training in Orlando in February and March. You can see the Braves hold spring training at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.

Kissimmee Cobras
This is the farm team of the Houston Astros. The Cobras play Class A ball in the Florida State League. Home games are played in Osceola County Stadium located 12 miles east of exit 25 on I-4. Tickets are only sold at the stadium for games played that day. Call (407) 933-2520 for schedule and ticket information.

Orlando Rays
The Orlando Rays are owned by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, but are actually the Class AA Southern League farm team of the Seattle Mariners. Home games are played in Tinker Field. Call (407) 649-7297 for schedule and ticket information.

Basketball

Orlando Magic

Watch Penny Hardaway, Nick Anderson and the rest of the Orlando Magic play basketball in the fantastic Orlando Arena (The "O-rena"). Seats are difficult, but not impossible to get. The parking situation at the stadium is ridiculous. Get there early or you’ll wind up parking in somebody’s back yard. Call the Box Office at (407) 649-2255 or TicketMaster at (407) 839-3900

Football
The Predators represent Orlando in the Arena Football League. Played indoors at the Orlando Arena, the league runs from May to August. Call (407) 648-4444
